My story

I have always been allured by flowers. Some of my happiest childhood memories are in the spring, when the forest floor near my dad's farm was covered in little blue squills.

Growing up as an art school kid, I took ikebana classes and kept my own cut flower garden. It was a creative outlet, but also a real education in what it takes to go from seed to bouquet. Moving across the Atlantic for school and building a life in a new city slowly pulled me away from something that had always felt like a natural part of who I am.

One of these summers, I ended up picking flowers on a farm in Ontario. I chose to compose my own arrangement, and it was one of the happiest moments I had experienced in recent memory. I was clearly in love with this art form.

Anu Floral Studio is where that love lives. Every arrangement is designed with intention, rooted in the natural world, and shaped by years of looking closely at beauty in all its forms.
